Male Nurse has Sex with Psychiatric patient

THE Ministry of Health says the Solwezi General Hospital is investigating reports of a male student nurse allegedly being caught having sex with a psychiatric patient at the institution last week.

In a telephone interview, Ministry of Health spokesperson Dr Canicius Banda said his office was aware of the allegations and that he was in touch with the hospital.

“The hospital is investigating the matter,” he said.

He confirmed that the person who is alleged to have had sex with the patient is a student nurse at the Solwezi School of Nursing.
