Provide services and support and act as a pressure group to improve facilities and services of the hearing impaired. It target group is the hearing impaired, particularly people in rural areas and those who are unable to access private treatment through lack of finance.
Status
ZNAHI is a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) registered under the laws of Zambia. It was established solely to supplement government efforts in the provision of services to the hard of hearing in areas such as health, education, social welfare and rehabilitation of the hard of hearing.
Location
The organization is located at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) children’s wing at the Speech and Hearing Centre. The main purpose of its location at U.T.H is to act as a referral centre for the University Teaching Hospital’s ENT department (clinic 6) for its patients who need technical aid that is hearing aids and accessories.
